Deforestation Bag

This assignment required us as a group to make digitally visualized data and represent it on a bag. As a group, we decided to focus on deforestation as a relevant topic with societal impact. We wanted to visualize the different contributors to deforestation using Processing.

My main role was exploring possible visualizations and making a physical prototype. I set a goal to work with sewing machines as part of the course, to mimic a notebook highlighting the contrast.

The key learning point was to visualize digital datasets physically. Choosing the right data and the correct visualization method was challenging, but the final result encapsulated this topic creatively.
